MAORI MINISTER IS AWARDED FELLOWSHIP The Rev. L. M. Tauroa, a Methodist minister of Te Kuiti, has been awarded an Ecumenical Fellowship by the Union Theological Seminary. New York. This is one of about thirty such fellowships awarded to potential Church leaders in many countries throughout the world, but particularly in Asia. Mr Tauroa expects to leave New Zealand about September, 1958, and to be overseas for twelve months. He is the first New Zealander to be selected for inclusion in this programme.
