TIOIRANGI PAKU The death occurred at Masterton of Mr Tioirangi (Joe) Paku. He was 63. Mr Paku was an authority on the early history of the Maori in the Wairarapa, and he took a prominent part in the affairs of the Anglican Church. He donated the land and offered trees from his farm for timber for the erection of a proposed Maori church in Masterton.
