Earlier reports suggested Garcia’s death was due to a heroin overdose. The report did also state that years of substance abuse were a contributing factor ... meanwhile, Skinny Puppy drummer Dwayne Goettel (31) died of a heroin overdose on August 23, at his parent’s home in Canada ...
