Onaweta have made their live debut and their excellent 7” ‘Dance Little Children’ is doing well ... Wazzo Ghoti have an interesting demo doing the rounds... Radio Active will be back on air Feb 15... Compos Mentis have split... Jayrem projects in the new year are records from all-women bands Dead Famous People and Putty in Her Hands, also from the Jonahs and Dread Beat and Blood. Flesh D Vice tour briefly in early Jan, then go into the studio ... the Hardedge compilation will be out soon in ’B7, with additional material by No Idea ... acoustic acts have been entertaining shoppers at the Wakefield Market... the Cricketers plans early-week concerts from lesser-known bands... Strikemaster have a Christmas Eve gig at the Clyde Quay; their EP should be out early next year... working at Frontier Studios have been Lets Planet, Shanty, Cole Shot, Hammerack and ex-Biitz members.
