broadcast o fficiais comes from Ausiralia. Gladys Mone Priefi, now almost recovered from her terrible accident of nea ly a year ago, rang the ABC in
Sydney the other morning. "! want to speak to Mr, C---~," she said. "This is the secretary to the Federal Pregramme Dir(ector of the Australian Broadsasting Commission," replied 2 very formal voice, "Oh, hang that,’ said Gladys. "This is Australia’s Queen of Song speaking."
