Errol Flynn As Cyrano?

FRROL FLYNN is keen to play the role of Cyrano de Bergerac in a film about the famous big-nosed Frenchman of Louis Xili’s day-so keen that he has written his own adaptation of the play by Edmund Rostand and sub. mitted it to Warner Bres. officials. There is said to be a distinct chance that Flynn will get his wish, and that Olivia de Havilland will play opposite him as the lovely Roxane for whose sweet sake Cyrano was willing to cross swords with anyone. Fiynn will have no trouble with the swordfighting, but what does he intend to do about that nose? Incidentally, a film about Cyrano, starring Charlies Laughton, was one of the Alexander Korda _ projects which didn’t come off.
