Francis, presents a studio concert, with popular ‘Interludes, from 4YA at 9.5 p.m. "Songs of the Sea," by singers you know, from a ZB stations at 8.15 p.m. Wednesday, December 7: Winifred Hill (soprano) will be heard in a recital of a group of lieder by Edward Grigg, from 1YA at 8.18 p.m. Grace Adams East, an article on whom appeared in last week’s issue, will be heard in a trumpet recital, with orchestral accompaniment, from 2YA at 8.8 p.m.

New Zealand-born, wut resident in England for some time, Miss Nelle M. Scanlan, wellknown authoress, is at present back in this country for a holiday. Listeners will have the pleasure of hearing her talk on "Shadows Over London: The Teople and the Crisis," from 2YA at 8.40 p.m. Just how closely the various units of the British Commonwealth of Nations are bound together seems to be giving much food for thought at present and
several talks on this subject have already been broadcast from the National stations. Another talk, "The Commonwealth Idea" will be given by Mr. Lionel Curtis from 4VA at 8.41 p.m. Wednesday, December 7: Well-known speaker on "World Affairs," Dr. Guy H.
