Re-enter the Count of Monte Cristo
GO popular was "The Count of Monte Cristo," the recorded feature which was heard some months ago over NCBS stations, that it has been decided to repeat it. This time 2ZB is featuring the intrepid Count’s adventu..s in the children’s session, but there are_ sure to be many adults who will
seize the opportunity of renewing acquaintances with Dumas’ famous tale, As listeners who heard it the first time will recall, "The Count of Monte Cri.to" is an exceptionally faithful adaptation of the book, though naturally an immense amount of condensation was necessary.
Text for Today EW to 3ZB listeners is the "Text for Today" feature, a little early morning philosophy, just about an hour before people leave home for their day’s work. The feature started only a week or so ago and already has been favourably commented upon. Here’s a sample: "Little acts of courtesy are the ball- , bearings of daily life."
