1ZB Man Is To Broadcast From Berlin
ROADCASTS on Berlin shortwave are to be given by Colin Moore, former 1%B breakfast session announcer, who sailed last May with Michael Hutt, on Count Von Luckner’s yacht "Seeteufel." Two German newspapers have arranged to handle articles by Lim, and the Berlin Shortwave station DGX will give him three months on contract for broadcasts to South Africa, U.S.A, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with nightly broadcasts te South America. He cam now speak German with hardly any accent, but this will not affect his broadcasting as ali of it will be in English. U.F.A, Films, of Berlin, have ‘contracted him to write and do ithe English commentary of the film taken during the "Seeteufel’s" voyage. He is to stay in the Count’s home while in Berlin and when finished with the radio and film work, Hans Osterrich, the U.F.A. film-man who is on the "Seeteufel" and the Count and Countess and Colin Moore are going for 2 vacation in Vienna, and the Swiss Alps.
