NATIONAL STATIONS COVER THE PLAY (COMPLETE arrangements for broadcasting the first 1938 Eng-land-Australia cricket test have been made by the national stations, beginning on Friday, June 10. On Friday, the national stations, 1YA, 2YC, 3YA, and 4YA, will broadeast bali to ball descriptions from 10 p.m, to 11 p.m: From 11 p.m. on Friday night until] 5 a.m. on Saturday morning, the broadcast wil! be given solely by 2YA. On Saturday morning at 7 a.m. all main stations will give the results of play. At 9.35 a.m., 2YA will rebroadeast from the Empire station Oldfield’s eye-witness account . of play. ‘This will be recorded and: put. on the air from all stations at 6.45 p.m. in the dinner session. On Sunday: morning at 9 o’clock all ational stations will give the results of play. On Tuesday and Wednesday at 7 a.m. and 8 a.m., results will be given from all national stations. On Saturday, Monday ang Tuesday nights, from 9.30 to 11, 1YA, 2YC, 8YA and SYA (on Saturday night 4¥O} will broadeast. ball to ball — desvriptiuns, which will be taken over solely -throughout the rest of the night at 11 p.m. by 2YA.
