ACHIEVEMENT OF STATION QN the Indian Ocean, en route to health and happiness and the home of her grandmother in England, is a girl who will always remember "Uncle Tom" (Mr. T, T. Garland), of 1ZB, and New. Zealand listeners with gratitude. She is 21 years of age. and has been ill for a very long time, Her grandmother in England offered her a good home, but she could not find the fare. "Unele Tom" appealed twice only for listeners to send in to 1ZB half a crown each to defray the cost of the journey, The result was a total of £65--£5 more than the fare, And so "Uuele Tom" booked her passage for Home, and she sailed on Friday, April 13,
