General Electric’s enlarged. shortwave broadcast schedule, to include use of the two new frequencies recently grauted W2XNAD by the Federal Communications: Commission, has now gone into effect. Four frequencies are used by stations W2XAD and W2XAr in ti:nsmitting programmes to international listeners, -The broadeasting schedule is increased by two ‘and onehalf hours.with the use of the new -frequencies, W2XAD, on 21,500 kilocycles or 13.95 nietres, is ip operation from 1 am. to 5 pan.: on 15,330 kilocycles or 19.56 metres from 5.80 a.m. to 12 noon: und on 9550 kilucycles or 31.41 metres from 12.30 pm. to 5 pm. ° Station W2XAlF. operating on a frequency .of 9580 kiloeyeles or 31-4. metres is in service from 9 a.m, to 5 p.m,
