APPOINTMENT OF STATION DIRECTOR APPOINT MENT of Mr. S. J. Duff as Station Director, 2ZB, is one of interest to Wellington’s commercial circles. A Wellington College old tboy, Mr. Duff’s first ‘ntroduction to commerce was as a junior of the staff of the Jenkins Advertising Agency, followed by service with the Tlott agency at Wellingfon and Dunedin. This, in turn, led him to the businessgetting side of newspapers, first as a member of the advertising staff of the N.Z. "Free Lance," and later, as advertising manager of "National Magazines." publishers of the "Radio Record," "Sporting Life.’ and ~ other periodicals. He went to the Commercial Broadcasting Service as advertising manager for 2ZB in September last, and the announcement «. his appointment to Station Director was made at a staff meeting this week.
