Chaplin May Make Anti-War Film
CHARLIE CHAPLIN is being urged to make a great anti-war picture. The ‘Hollywood Spectator,’"’ backed in this matter by numbers of American peace organisations, has been running a big campaign to persuade Chaplin. So far, no response from the comedian himself is reported. There is clearly something in the idea hat war hysteria might be guyed devastatingly in a film that had the familiar screen Chaplin in the central part.
