At 3.15 p.m, signals were much better, Radio Coloniale at 3.18 p.m. was putting over a wonderful signal. easily the. best on any band at full loudspeaker strength. GSC on 81.3 m. giving out news, signals being fairly good and clear at 3.22 p.m. At 5 p.m., 2MH. opened up, the signals being good. ‘The usual rausieal programme was then transmitted DJA, on 8138 m., at 5.8 p.m. was below standard. Later a musical prugramme was transmitted at R5, Q4. ‘ DIN, 31.45 m., at 2.35 pm., transmitting a musical programme, signals being better ‘than its sister station, JJD. This is the. best station on the 31 m. band, and at the above hour was R6, Q5. The music was mostly operatic, Signals, at 1.22-p.m., R7, Q5. DJA, $1.38 m. ., talk in German; signhls very zoodl at 147 p.m., R7, Qé.. Station now closes at -2 p.m. CIRX, 25.5 m., coming in very well today, the best I have heard; no distertion whatever, and yelume good. A talk was. being given. Signals R6, Q4, at 425 p.m. Closes at 4.80 p-m, DJA, 31.38 m. opened at 5.10 pum. with an excellent signal, after a musical programme was presented, Soon after the interval signal was agaip. put over, after which the programme ~ was again presented without any anxzouncement.
