Tasman’-Motor Fatality-Suburban: Business Man Killed-Defence of Inevitable Accident. John Lavington, of Hopefield Crescent, Bondi, draper, was proceeding along Old South Head Road, Bondi, on the 10th February last, when a motor-car driven by the defendant mounted the footpath upon which Lavington was walking and struck and killed him. His widow then brought this action against the defendant, claiming ~2000 damages.
