‘THE German station, Deutschlandsender, has hired eomedians to brighten ‘up the programme between 5.30 and 7 in the morning; it is claimed that this will "liven up the spirits of German listeners, and make them more fit for the day’s’ work." They should be about the first human beings to see something funny about 5.85 a.m.
