Gisborne Programmes
ONE of the popular B stations of Gisborne, 2ZM, "The Atwater Kent Radio Service," is owned and operated by P. R. Stevens of 258 Gladstone Road, Gisborne. This station js operated on a frequency of 1150 k.c.,. ‘using a fullye modulated: power of 15 watts. The week- « ly schedule of this station is as follows :- Daily. 9. 15 to 9.45 a.m.: Selected recordings. 9.45 to 10 a.m.: Devotional service conducted alternately By Canon Hall, Rey. Mr. Moresby and Rev, Mr. Aires, ; ’ Thursdays. Evening session from 7 to 10 pm: Selected recordings, occasionally local concerts. Sundays. 7 to 8,15 p.m.: Church services, the circuit being as follows: First Sunday, the Baptist. ; second Sunday; Presbyterian Church ; Sunday, Methodist church; and fourth Sunday, Church of England. Occasionally the Salvation Army Citadel. 8.30 to 10 p.m.: -Selected recordings, and during the winter months on alternate Sunday evenings a relay from the Majestic Theatre of the Wellington and East Coast Mounted Rifles Band concert, conducted by Lieut. A. Wood. .
