"Bobbie Bluegum" Wanted In New Zealand

To the Editor Sir-wWe fully endorse "An Interested Listener’s" letter. Frank Iatherley, as @ song leader and also as an announcer, has been very much appreciated by many-we miss him over the air from 2BL, and if he has severed his connection with the A.B.C., could not something be done to secure him for our own New Zealand stations? Mr. Owen Pritchard has left Wellington and "Bobbie Bluegum" would be surely a great acquisition both for community work and children’s work, as well as for general work. We find the radio a real joy-bringer-even though we may not like some of the items-but we realise that there are all tastes to be catered for.-I am, etc.,
