To the Editor Sir,-I have, been wondering why it is that so few band programmes areé¢ broadeast from station 1YA,. The other YA stations seem to be able to supply a good band programme at least once 4 week. I am sure that many of the listeners would join my. in saying that a band programme from 1YA would ‘be greatly appreciated on, say, a Thursday night. There is plenty of band .talent in and around Auckland, and a variety would be better than listening to the Municipal Band all the time.-I am. ete..
