Pat On The Back For 3YL Dance Sessions

\ ‘ To the Editor. Sir,-I am at present listening to 3YL, Christchurch, this Friday evening, and I must say that I am well satisfied with the way. the programmes are chosen down there. It was only by luck. that I happened to switch on to this bright _ little station, which saved me from haying to listen to a classical programme, which I do: not like very much. I must admit that this station is run on the right lines. While the classical lovers listen in to 3YA, the likes of myself enjoy a programme of dance music from 38YL. Much praise must also be given to the announcer, who puts meaning and feeling into his announce ments. This seems to be rare in New Faaland annonneers.-TI am. ete.:
