SOME importance is attached to the recent visit of the B.B.C. Director
of Programmes, Mr. Roger Eckersley, and of the B.B.C. . chief of "Outside Broadcasts," Mr. Gerald Cock, to Hollywood. It is thought they are studying film prduction for some purpose or other. Says the great authoritv: "The B.B.C. must choose one or other (Histree or Hollywood), for who can doubt that broadcasting and the tihns are to be very closely interlinked as time goes on?" Probably the reference is to television.
