DX Topics XEYZ Verified. (CONDITIONS in. my locality for the past few weeks have been bad, QRN taking up most of the dial, Tue early morning Americans are still in the background, and only a few have beew heard, namely, KGHR, KOA, KMPC. and WDAY, none of which are new loggings, Eastern reception has been good, Australian fair. My new loggings are VK’s 4L:W, 8SW, and 2NX. The postman has treated me well lately, verifications being received from VK’s 8YJ, 2LB, KHX, KOIN, LS2, JOFG, XEYZ, Poste Parisien, Bucharest, and Milan. A letter was received: from YVUC stating that they could not verify, as my report was vague, It only consisted of one hour and nine minutes of Indian programme, the time given out when closing (10.15), also the call "Calcutta speaking," ane a full range of Q and R. signals.

SIORRRRRRRRRRARARRRRRRRARRARRARARARRAa The verification from XEYZ reads 2s follows: "We appreciate your report daied September 12, which we found to 5° correct. On November 20 from 11 to 12 at night (Mexico City time) we will broadcast a special concert with Mexican music and the announcements in both languages, EXnglish.and-Spanish. We invite you to tune-in and to. please report ‘this particular programme. Thanking you for the attention that you may ‘give this request." When I sent the report away, the address was taken from a local list as being Radio Station XHYZ, Mexico City, D.F. Receiver in use is a nine-valve commercial a.c. superhet.-186W. (Wellington). Special from VK4Jd. pun following is an excerpt from a letter received from VK4JJ: "About a special for your DX Club. I received the same sr,gestion from Mr. D. N. Adams, and I think it a stout idea.
