"piLot STATION," a B.B.C. recorded programme, is a running commentary from Pilot’s Pier, situated at Gravesend, about 30 miles from London, towards the sea, the commentator being Cecil Maddenfrom 8 to 9 p.m: from 1YA. "GHADOWS ALIVH" is the title of a one-act dramatic play produced by Allan McSkimming, and presented by The Radio Players-to be heard at 8.26 p.m. from 1YA. "TL TROVATORE," Verdi's famous Grand Opera, may be heard in an abridged form at 9.20 p.m. from 1YA. N Hour with Gilbert and Sullivan, featuring "The Mikado," 8 to 9 pm. from 1YX, 2YA, 3YL and 4YA. "PHD MOTHER." a dramatic sketch adapted for radio by Fillis Price and Phillip Richmond; and "The Winning Hand," written for radio by Ellis Price and Mary Kelaher, are to be presented by the Wellington Repertory Society at 9.2 and 9.28 p.m. from 2YA.
