URTIS B. DALL, son-in-law of President Roosevelt, has-been confirmed as chairman of the board of directors of the new wireless chain in the U.S.A. The new organisation of which is ‘under the direction of ‘Ed. Wynn, the well-known American comedian, is designed to combat the blatant advertising which characterises American radio. A score of stations have already been linked up, and although revenue will be derived from sponsored programmes, the only publicity a commodity will receive is by a reference to advertisements appearing in the press.. . ;
