MR. FRANK MILNER RETURNS
el A Nationa! Reception to be Broadcast by IYA Cabled advice received from California by Mr. T. C. List, Governor of Rotary in the Dominion, states that Mr. Frank Milner’s mission to that State proved a wonderful success, Mr. Milner left Wancouver on September 17 on his return to the Dominion. On his arrival at Auckland on Monday next, October 2, he is to be given a national welcome, this will take place in the Auckland Town Hall at 8 p.m., and will be broadcast on relay by 1YA. The Mayor of Auckland, Mr. George Hutchison, will preside, and the speakers will include His Grace Archbishop Averill and the Hon. Sir James Parr.
