A Correspondent Has Found the "Perfect Announcer"
To the Editor. Sir,-Judging from the letter. of a previous correspondent, "Antonio," it appears that in searching for the "perfect announcer" he has. apparently . failed to. "tune in" to station 3YA., He-said that. he would back Clive Drummond against. anyone, but-surely-anybody who-has ever had.the pleasure of listening..to Mr.. Cur:
rie would never go so far as to make such a bold statement. With his clear, distinct, and pleasing voice, Mr, Currie makes the news session such a pleasure to listen to.that even an old lady of 93, who is a regular listener, always refers to him as "my man," and will listen to no other, In conclusion, might I suggest to "Antonio" that he tunes in to 3YA some evening at his leisure-lI am, etc.,
