"Would Back Drummond Against Anyone"
To the -Editor. . Sir,+-Having’ just. finished réading .the "Letters from: Listeners," Iam very sutprised: that:-any ‘listener’ could find. fault with 2YA’s anriouncer: I -have had a radio set for two years now, and, like a great many other listeners, have heard most: of the main stations in New Zealand and Australia and a few in America, and will back Clive Drummond against any announcer from the stations heard. And as for using swank, well, even if he does, Y would rather hear him using swank than hear the majority of other announcers making mistakes. In conclusion I
wish to let you know how much I enjoyed "Postman’s Knock," and hope that more like it will follow. And also to compliment you on the new issue of the "Radio Record," which is worth its weight in gold.-I am, ete., | ANTONTO.
