—"Christchurch Times," Photo. WHERE 3YA'S 300FT. MASTS WILL SHORTLY RISE.—A panoramic view of the site of the new Canterbury transmission station at the end of Lyttelton Harbour. The road to the site is almost completed, and the 75 tons of steel for the masts is being carried to the site. Should the weather remain suitable, the new station should be ready for operation about the end of October.
