It was heard on a NBC programme of Vincent Lopez and his orchestra which also came through WIOD, the Isle of Dreams Broadcasting Co. owners of W4XP. W2AF was well received on October 30, at 8.80 a.m. at RT-8, giving a description of a ball game between Notre Dame and Pittsburgh, which was easily readable except when WS8KAF went into occasional fading.
