A SPECIAL meeting of the Radice Society of Christchurch was calleé for recently to consider what steps, if any, should be taken to improve matters, for attendance had fallen off of late. There has been talk of winding up the society, but there is absolutely no need for such action (asserts 2 local writer). Just because there is 2 dearth of men who have the ability to give lectures and devote the time neces sary for such work is no reason why there should be a faint-hearted attitude adopted.
