Constitution for DX Club
Several Proposed Changes "THE DX Club has, like Topsy, just growed. Commenced as a means of exchanging dx notes through the "Radio Record," a real club, with branches in the main towns, has come into being. Up till now it has had no definite policy, and many branches -have been looking for something tangible on which to base their local rules. With the purpose of consolidating the club a proposed constitution has been drawn up and approved by the largest branches. Although it is not yet definitely settled-there are one or two amendments to go before the branches that have passed the original constitu-tion-incorporation will probably take place within the next. few weeks, The main object ‘of the club is the furtherance of the interests of longdistance listening. . . Provision has been made for an Advisory Board of four dxers and a chairsp oe a TRE A NE SR RE A AAAS ES

District headquarters are to be established in several districts, and within their geographical limits branches ean be set up. In order that the Advisory Board may be representative, provision is made that two members shall be from the South Island and two from the North. Proxy voting is also allowed for.
