A SERIES of building and constructional talks will be given on Wednesday evenings at 7.30. His Worship the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, gave the first talk of this series on Wednesday, the 17th inst., and in the course of his talk demonstrated how, if various small renovating jobs were put in hand this work would help to relieve the pre- _ Sent unemployment difficulties. Arrangements are being made with various architects and businessmen of note throughout the city to present these talks, which, it.is anticipated, will find favour with many listeners.
