Phyllis Kinniburgh, a talented young Christchurch pianiste, who will be heard from 3YA on Sunday, August 14. Miss Kinniburgh recently received information that she has been awarded an Exhibition Scholarship by the Royal Academy of Music, London, and she intends to proceed Home next year. Though only eighteen years of age, Miss Kinniburgh has already had a markedly successful musical career, She passed her L.T.C.L. at fifteen, and at seventeen won the Bristol Scholarship at the Christchurch Competitions. She followed this up by passing L.A.B. (practical). This success was followed by her passing theory examination, Higher Division (harmony) with honourable mention. _
