The card, which is a "folder," has some very fine pen sketches of Austria arouid the margin, forming a ftame for the. particulars. "VOR2 uses a erystal controlled experimental transmitter with a power of 120 watts in the aerial." Our Empire station has been really good on several mornings of this week. Wednésday, R7 at 8.30 a.m., very clear anil steady to RD at 9.80 ami, after which they were weaker and gushy. Thursday, between 8 a.m. and 8.80 a.m. they were excellent at R8-9, slowly going off after this. On Saturday they were R4 at 2 p.m., slowly increasing to RO by 4 p.m. During the greater part of this. period a reiay of a local roadcast station was heard, but at intervals, JIAA was called. At 4.8 p.m. they closed, stating that the time was 8.38 p.m... Pacific standard time, and that they had been broadeasting for observation by JIAA, Japan, and that "we will see you to-morrow." , W2XAD, Schenectady, 19.56 metres.
