1ZR Notes
WO relays of interest to listeners were carried out successfully by 1ZR. The movie charitable ball from Dixieland Cabaret, and the Catholic charity ball from the Town Hall. The descriptions ot the frocks and surroundings with a background of merriment and music of the band, all assisted to make both functions seem to be better than at home with the radio.
