At 3.15 p.m. the weekly home science talk, prepared by the Home Science Extension Department of Otago University, will be broadcast by 1YA, 2YA, and 3YA.
Auckland Notes THD weekly midday service held}in’ St. Matthew’s Church for businessmen will be broadcast. ‘The 7.80 p.m. W.H.A. session will deal with "Ways of Wild Birds-Birds as Traveliers." Mr. R. A. Falla, M.A., will be the lecturer. Relaying from the Auckland Town Hall, iYA will broadeast 2 concert to be given by the Bohemian Orchestral Society under the conductorship of Colin Muston, L.R.A.M. From Wellington PURING the W.H.A. session Professor G. W. Von Zedlitz, M.A., will give the final of his lecturettes on "The Pleasures of Reading." The evening programme will be relayed from Foxton, where a concert, with community singing, has been organised. Owen Pritchard will be the song leader, with Frank Crowther at the piano. Maori items will be a feature of the programme, which will be given by local artists. Christchurch Jottings 3YA will broadcast a talk on "Forestry" by Mr. James Deans under the auspices of the Forestry League. The variety recorded programme ineludes two sketches, "A Music Hall Trial Turn" and "Mr. Sparrow Puts Up for Parliament." At 9 o’clock, Dr. P. Stanley Foster will give a talk on "Off the Beaten Track Abroad." In a previous talk concerning a trip to America and Hurope, Dr. Foster proved most entertaininse.
