Notes from 1YA N the recorded programme will be heard Gertrude Johnson, soprano, singing "The Jewel Song" (from "Faust") and Sir Edward German’s "Waltz Song." Humour will be provided by Reg. Grant and Wish Wynne. The orchestral numbers includé "The Barber of Seville,’ Weber’s "Invitation to the Waltz," and Ketelbey’s "Cockney Suite." Violin and piano
solos will be included, and at 9 o’clock Captain F. H. Billington will give his second talk on "Argentina." Wellington Features ROM 8 to 9 at 2YA the miecrophone will be hamded over to Mr. Doug, Stark and his Chappies," who, assisted by the Salon Orchestra, will provide fn entertainment of "cheery chatter and melodious melodies." The pro‘gramme has been arranged by Mr. Stark, who is well imown to listeners. In the second half of. the programme, popular numbers will be sung by the Lyric Quartet; there will be recordings by Harry Lauder and varied selections will be played by the 2YA Orchestra. At 9 o’clock Mr. H. F. von Haast will give his next travel lecturette, "London and its Landmarks," descriptive.of the great-
est and most interesting city in the world, . Features PURIN G the W.H.A. session Dr, A. G.. B. Fisher will be the lecturer, continuing his talks on "What I Saw in Russia." The Artillery Band, assisting vocal artists, and a number of recordings will contribute to the concert.
