JFROM iYA, 2YA and 3YA, there will be an afternoon home science talk on "When You are Making Bread." Auckland Notes ‘PoE weekly midday service held in St. Matthew’s Chureh will be relayed. Mr. H. Hollinrake, Mus.Bac., will be the W.E.A, lecturer at 1YA, continuing his series of talks on "The Modern Orchestra and its Instruments -Brass." To-night’s programme will be provided by the Orpheus Musical Society, with the addition of a number of re- . cordings. 2YA Jottings ‘THE W.H.A, talk will be on "The Pleasures of Reading-the Drama," and will be given by Mr. G. W. von Zedlitz, M.A. The first hour of the evening session will be a "Cabaret Musicale," arranged and produced by Edwin Dennis. This will consist of numerous familiar and ever popular songs, both to-day and yesterday, interwoven into suitable patter and with 2 background of orchestra] music. In the second half of the programme, Mr. Dennis’s Choir will sing a number of well-known choruses, while Hileen Forsette and Frank Hayes-Towns will act a sketch. . Christchurch Jottings Ve. R. MeGILLIVRAY, Fields Superintendent of the Department of Agriculture, in speaking to farmers at 7.20 p.m., will discuss "The Wat Crop." The 3YA. Musie Lovers’ Conipetition will be broadcast at 7.35. A programme of recordings, including a miniature musical comedy, "The Balcony Girl," will be presented. At 9 o’clock, Professor A. H. Tocker will speak on "Sidelights on Internationalism."
