Auckland Jottings "THE 1YA Musie Lovers’ Competition (eighth instalment) will be broadcast at 7.35 p.m. A recorded programme will be presented. At.9 o’clock Dr. BH. P. Neale will give a talk on "Chambers of Commerce at Home and Abroad." From Wellington "THE 9 o’clock lecturettes by Mr. H. J. von Haast will be another ou his travel series, this time on "Sicily -the Cockpit of the Mediterranean." The evening’s concert programme will feature vocal numbers by the Waiata Ladies’ Quartet-Lalla Vondersloot, Nora Gray, Mollie Fenton aad Mrs. P. Ramsay-in solo, duet and trio and quartet numbers, all well known and popular. Mrs. Winnie Birch-Johnston, a New Plymouth entertainer, will give humorous items. Dunedin Features HE W.E.A. talk will be given vey Dr. Fisher on "What I Saw in Soviet Russia." An attractive programme to be presented by the St. Kilda Band has been arranged by the conductor, Mr. Jas. Dixon.
