Short-Wave Club Notes
‘Tt is very pleasing to note the enthusiasm of short-wave enthusiasts in ‘Auckland. Immediately 1ZR . broadeast a notice of a meeting for the putpose of forming a club a large number turned. up. This movement.is not in any. way yunning counter to the N.Z.S.W.0., as there ig alikelihood of amalgamation. We now require representatives in Christchurch and° Dunedin, also ~- other places, who will artange a few meetings. As I mentioned in any, last notes, ‘our sub. of .5s. was made the. lowest figure we could manage ‘purposely to low. members to add a little to pay the rent of a hall of room. The club does not lay down ‘hard and fast rules, and different branches are encouraged to have all the meetings they can. I ‘will be very pleased to. hear from listeners who would urdertake the work, and am preparing information now. ‘Olub address is: ‘A’ B.- McDonagh; Secretary, N.Z.S.W.C., 4 Street’ Wellington,
