1ZR, Auckland

— 1090 kc; Wim — R. WF. R. FIELD, of Scientific Research Society, resumes his talks on March 31, His series will this time be devoted to the "Story of the World" as related in Genesis. The old Scripture story of the earth’s foundation has a strong supporter in Myr. Field, and his chatty, non-technical discourses are listened to with interest in Auckland. ~ R. W. J: LYONS, of Auckland, will shortly be heard in a series of talks on Child Psychology. Mr. Lyons has travelled extensively, and has appeared -on London broadcasting stations, including 2L0. 128 has always placed a high value on its informative talks sessions. An interesting series last year was the musical portraits given by Alice Law. On the first of April Miss Law will give a descriptive talk on Haydn. This will be illustrated. by excerpis from the master’s works, which will be played by Miss Law on the piano. HE Sunday morning children’s service conducted by Uncle.Tom has a host of enthusiastic listeners. They display their enthusiasm, too, as dials are, turned at the early hour of 9 a.m., and this is a reflection of the bright atmosphere of the studio service which finds its way out to listeners. It is very unorthodox, but very happy. The children take a real part in the service, reading and joining in the prayers and singing. Uncle Tom keeps the ball rolling along merrily. Over forty bright, and happy children answer to the roll call almost regularly. And any even moderate appeal made by Uncle Tom for funds for more books or whatever he may need, the response ig a ready one-quick and to the point.
