A.M.H. (Tirau): Photos of the four announcers will be published in the "Radio Guide." Letters in Brief. D*4t takes his lance in self-defence against the attacks recenily made against him re the Hnglish used dy "Uncle George." He points out that he said "pure Hnglish," and maintains his contention that the gentleman in question does not use pure English, but’: Scottish. He wishes to make clear that he is not attacking ‘Uncle George" himself, for whose earnestness he has profound respect. R.A.G., Christchurch _ ,reiterates argument in favour of the R.B.C. style of announcing, and requests that dinner music numbers be published. There is too much violin music, and too few "old time nights."
