Annual Meeting THE annual meeting of the Christchurch Radio Society was held on Thursday evening, and ‘the election of officers resulted in the following :-President, Mr. R, A. McLennan; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. Hurrell and Russell; secretary, Miss Herrick; assistant-secre-tary, Mr. Gerity ; hon. treasurer, Mr. 9. Rose; auditor, Mr. Bluett; trustee, Mr. H. P. Brown; publicity agent, Mr. P. O. Smith; librarian, Mr. Stone; assistant librarian, Mr.'B. W. Watson. Four working committees were also appointed. The club was reported by the retiring treasurer to be in a‘healthy and perfectly financial state, in spite of hard times and the added expenses of the transmitter. Several tributes Bere paid to retiring officers-Mr. H. Brown, secretary; Mr. R. Stazton. i hon. treasurer; Mr. Dukes (buffet), Mr. Hurrell (social),’and many others. After further business, the meeting closed, and the committee mapped out their future responsibilities. Three members of the Dx Club were present-IE. Watson, Christchurch secretary, also 56MC and 47MC.
