This will be followed by a relay of the municipal Band concert in Albert Park. . 2YA Notes — JIE evening service to be conducted in St. Thomas’s Anglican Church by the Rev. ©. V. Rooke will be relayed. The broadcast of a studio concert will follow. The programme will be provided by the Ellwood. Sextet, assisted by Mrs. Wilfred Andrews (contralto) and Brnest Glading (baritone. A number of selected recordings will be introduced. Jottings from 38YA "THE service in St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church will be . broadcast, the Rev. Thos. Tait being the preacher. The. after-church concert, which will also be broadcast by 4YA and 4ZP, will be contributed to by the Christchurch Salon Orchestra. (conducted by Franeis Bate), Evelyn Shephard, soprano (a visiting. Dunedin artist), Belle Renaut (contralto), and Herb. F. Vincent, conductor of the Waimate Band and at one time champion cornetist f New Zealand.
