Features from 1YA "THE Rev, W. Monckton, M.A., will continue his series of talks on "Present Day Problems" during the W.B.A. session, A half-hour recital of recorded operatic numbers (vocal and orchestral) will follow a programme of popular items. Jottings from Wellington LJSTENDRS should find entertaining a noteworthy bhass-baritone, Trevor Thomas, whose solos will in-
clude two favourites, "On the Road to Mandalay" and "The Two G enadiers." Christina Young will bef. @ard in four contralto solos, and tuesical sketches will be presented by Mrs. John Hastings. Items from Dunedin HE Dunedin Choral Society, under Alfred Walmsley, assisted by Madame Reggiardo’s Instrumental Sextet, will provide the programme. The choral numbers will inelude "Hail, Gift of Song," "Hpilogue" (from "OCaraectacus"), "Hear My Prayer," "See the Conquering Hero Comes," "Be Not Afraid," "Hallelujah Chorus," and "Thanks Be to God."
