International Programmes. yeAck Sunday, station WOXAA, who is now broadcasting on25.43 m., ttansmits a regular programme sponsored’ by "The Century of Progress Exposition." Each programme is dedicated to a different part of the world, in an endeavour to foster international friendship, and to giye publicity to the Exposition, which will be held next year in Chicago. Thest transmissions may be picked up in New Zealand at 9 pm. to 11 p.m. each Mon-~ ay. Two Often-heard Canadians. GTATION VE9GW, which has been reported by many of late, is now_broa‘leasting regularly on 25.43 m, It is located at Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada, They wish to know if they ate heard better on this wavelength than on 49.22 m., and would appreciate reports.
"Radiodifusora Nacional." FVIDENTLY encouraged by the success of "Little NRH" and other wellknown Central American stations, the Government of Gautemala is building su experimental shortwayer in the canital city, It has the call letters TGW, and is known as"Radiodifusora Nacional." At present a frequency of 6675 k.c. (44.94 m.) is being used with a power of 100 watts. Schedule on this frequency is from 1 up to 3.30 p.m. A frequency of 10,715 kc. will be used for daylight work, but no definite schedule for this wave is to hand. Reports should be addressed to: "Telsgrafos Y Telefonos Nacionales, Seccion (2 Radio, Gautemala. City, Gautemala, Central America."
