N&VER "short-cireuit" grid-bias bats tery leads, for this can be mul more harmful than ‘disconnecting G.B. plug when a valve is working. pe not readjust your crystal more often than you need, as not only is this bad for the crystal but it often interferes with neighbours’ reception. AN ordinary R.F. choke inserted in the negative lead from a ‘"B" eliminator is often efficacious in gettipg rid of hum or distortion.
