Musician Honoured

Me. CLAUDE TANNER, well known to 2YA listeners and Wellington residents as a musician of outstanding brilliance, has been elected an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music. This is perhaps the highest honour

which can be bestowed upon any musician, and Mr. Tanner is to be congratulated on his election. As a ’cellist, he has been heard over the air regularly for the past few years in conjunction with the 2YA Orchestrina and the Wellington Chamber Music Players.
