Notes from 1YA "THE REV. LIONEL B. FLETCHER will be the preacher at Beresford Street Congregational Church when the service will be broadcast. The organist will be Mr. A. Cherry and the choirmaster -Mr. Wm. Gemmell. A relay of the Municipal Band Concert in the Town Hall will follow. At 2YA At 3 p.m. a lecture by Dr. Albert F. Gilmore, ©O.S.B., entitled ."Christian Science," will be relayed from the De Luxe Theatre. At 7 p.m. the service in St. Thomas’s Anglican Church will be broadeast, the preacher being the Hey. ©. V. Rooke. To-night the delightful musical comedy, "Lilae Time," which is puilt upon Schubert’s melodies by the American composer, Clutsam, will be broadcast. . A new combination of chosen voices, and styled the 2YA Vocal Octette, will sing this charming work. The Wellington Artillery Band, undex the conductorship of Capt. T. Herd, will also be heard in a fine programme. Christchurch Items HE service in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church will be broadcast, the Rey. J. Lawson Robinson being the preacher, with Mr. R. E. Lake at the organ and Mr. J. Maclean as choir conductor. The local portion of the after-church studio concert will be provided by Mrs. Sydney Bryant and W.

H. Dixon, singing solos and duets, including two negro spirituals and other popular numbers. On the instrumental side will be featured Beethoven’s "Ist Symphony," played on one piano by Aileen Warren and Maisie Ottey. An orchestral programme will be. provided by the Studio Octet, under Harold Beck. Concluding the programme will be a half-hour’s gramophone leéc-ture-recital, on "A National Musical Idol," by Karl Atkinson. Dunedin Features SALVATION ARMY Service, conducted in the Citadel by Adjutant Tong, will be broadcast, a relay of 8YA’s concert following.
